I am in mourning…

I believe my TIVO died sometime today… and this makes me sad. We had some good times, good television, good movies.

Now I need to look forward and make a decision on whether I am going to purchase a new unit or just "rent" one from the local cable company… or maybe even not get a new one at all (gasp at the thought!)

I never really thought about not having another DVR (Digital Video Recorder for you non-tech heads) and as of recently, I never thought that I could live without it... but as of lately, I have been letting quite a bit of shows build up and haven't even had the desire to watch them.

Although, with a couple of shows coming for the summer, I believe I will probably take advantage of the one of the offerings that are available to me. :-)
